Last year, the Salton Sea Management Program (SSMP) published the 2024 MIP Annual Work Plan, which compiled a list of ongoing and planned monitoring and research projects in the Salton Sea region. The 2024 MIP Annual Work Plan addressed status and trends monitoring, focused studies, and project performance, tiering off the priorities in the 2022 Salton Sea Monitoring Implementation Plan (MIP). The goal of the Work Plan is to share science and monitoring projects in the region, foster collaboration, leverage complementary studies, identify data gaps, and provide a resource for researchers and managers.
