Public Meetings Set for December 17 and 18 on Dust Suppression Planning around Salton Sea

Salton Sea Management Program Update — November 26, 2019

The State’s Salton Sea Management Program (SSMP) has scheduled two community meetings in December to engage residents in the State’s dust suppression planning efforts. The purpose of the meetings is to provide updates on the Salton Sea Management Program and other relevant topics and solicit community input on development of a Dust Suppression Action Plan. Following these initial meetings, the SSMP plans to hold additional meetings in the southern and eastern areas of the Salton Sea in early 2020.

Here are the dates and times for the first two meetings.
