Revitalizing the Salton Sea creates an entirely new water-themed
identity for the two-county region that will change the way the we –
and the world – perceive opportunities and quality of life here.
The Salton Sea revitalization project will be home to the second and fourth largest lakes and recreational playgrounds in the State of California.
Failure to revitalize the Salton Sea is not an option. Inaction, or
inability to reach a collaborative, consensus-driven solution, hurts the environment and the region’s economy.
This is an achievable project. We just need the political leadership to get it done.
Cross-region representation gives the Salton Sea Authority
the leadership to efficiently implement and manage a multi-purpose
program.
We have a responsibility to the next generation to take action now,
